Enrique Fernández Cervantes is an active
visual artist, exhibition curator and graphic designer.
His paintings and fine art photographs have been
exhibited in numerous galleries and museums. Since
1999, Enrique has held the position of Visual Arts
Coordinator and Curator of Exhibitions at the Bath
House Cultural Center. The Bath House, an arts
facility of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural
Affairs, is dedicated to fostering the development
and quality of multi-cultural arts within the city
of Dallas.
Enrique's experience as an art administration includes
his work as an Administrative Coordinator for the Ollimpaxqui
Ballet Company of Dallas (1997), his
assignment as Interim Manager of both the Bath House
Cultural Center (1999) and the
Ice House Cultural Center (2000) and his current
duties as Visual Arts Coordinator and Curator of Exhibitions
at the Bath House Cultural Center and the City of
Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. Since October 2009,
Enrique has also acted as Adjunct Curator for the Latino
Cultural Center of Dallas.
Enrique's curatorial record
includes exhibitions such as “Primera Luz: Photographs
by Mariana Yampolsky,” “Elemental,”
“Latino Cultural Center Inaugural Exhibition,”
“Office of the Mayor Exhibition Series,”
“¡Lotería, Lotería!,”
“Stories: Real, Dreamed and Invented” and
“Digno Invitational Photography Exhibition,”
among many others.
Enrique Fernández Cervantes es
un artista plástico, fotógrafo, diseñador
gráfico
y curador de arte
con un extenso historial de exposiciones. Desde 1999
Enrique ha fungido como Coordinador de Artes Visuales
y Curador de Exposiciones en el
Centro Cultural Bath House en Dallas y la Oficina
de Asuntos Culturales de Dallas. El Centro Cultural Bath
House es un centro de artes dedicado a promover y fomentar
el desarrollo, crecimiento y la calidad de artes multiculturales
en la ciudad de Dallas.
Además de su presente cumplimiento como curador
de exposiciones, Enrique también cuenta con
experiencia como administrador de arte que incluye
su trabajo de coordinación
administrativa y artística del Ballet
Folklórico Ollimpaxqui (1997) y su nombramiento
como Director Interino del Centro Cultural Bath House
(2000) y del Centro
Cultural Ice House (2000). Desde Octubre del 2009,
Enrique ha fungido como Curador Asociado del Centro Cultural
Latino de Dallas.
En su función
como curador Enrique ha preparado exposiciones
